Four To Score by Janet Evanovich

First off, this was not the book I wanted to read next. I made a recent trip to Barnes & Noble and bought a couple of books but unfortunately I bought the wrong book in a series. I bought the newest and last book of the series.. apparently I missed one though so that book will have to wait. I looked over my bookshelf to find something else to read and I picked Four to Score by Janet Evanovich.

I love her books so much! Stephanie Plum is one of my favorite characters because she's witty, tough yet still a little girly, and has a hot guy in her life (sorta). I have read the other three books before this one but Four to Score has to be my favorite. I love the sexual tension between Joe Morelli and Stephanie Plum and in this book it gets even hotter. Like all the other books I love the mystery part because I try to figure out who did it along with Stephanie and it's not always the most obvious person. In this book Stephanie meets some interesting people, yup a little more interesting then Lula her ex hooker friend. Another great thing about this book is that little old grandma Mazur. She is crazy and I love it. Can she join my family?? I definitely suggest this book. You don't have to start with the first book but it always helps to get the complete background story of the characters and such. I can't wait to read the next one! Why did I not start reading these sooner??

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Hard Luck by Jeff Kinney

Good afternoon curious readers! I just finished a really entertaining book called Diary of a Wimpy Kid Hard Luck by Jeff Kinney and I loved it! I know what you are thinking, you think that because I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid I must be someone in middle school who's mom allowed them to use their computer to start a blog but you're wrong. Like I said in the intro I read a variety of books and that includes some young adult books. I actually started reading the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series in college. My roommate was reading them and as she finished them I would read them. They were so amusing and the movies made it even better. This would be one of those times where the book and movies actually work well together.

In this book Greg Heffley has found himself friendless in middle school because his best friend Rowley has a girlfriend (if you know anything about this series you know that is a BIG shocker but way to go Rowley) and spends all his time with her. Greg can't seem to make new friends which isn't surprising since kids in middle school aren't always that welcoming. Anyways Greg tries to turn his bad luck into good luck and along the way he has some adventures that are pretty fun to us but probably not so much to him.

Jeff Kinney is a wise writer and illustrator. I love how in the books he makes his words come to life on the pages with his drawling of the Heffley's and friends. To me it makes it even funnier because you get the perfect picture of what the writer is trying to describe. I definitely recommend this book to young adults and maybe even those like myself who are not a young adult but still enjoy the series. I hope Kinney keeps writing these little books of laughter.

Introduction

Hello there fellow curious readers! I'm starting this blog as a way to sort of form an online book club/book review blog. I like to read a variety of books because I believe each genre has something special to offer to any reader. Any recommendations for a great book will always be welcomed! Please share with me your favorite books and perhaps your point of view on books that I have posted about. I look forward to this journey and I hope you stick with me because I'm aiming for an adventure!

Let's get started :)
