Last Christmas by Kate Brian

    Last Christmas by Kate Brian is the prequel to the Private series. I'm just going to quote the back of the book for the summary of the book because I don't want to give anything away. The back of the book says, "Before Reed Brennan came to Easton Academy...Before Thomas Pearson was murdered... Before Ariana Osgood became Easton's most notorious student... She was just another girl at boarding school. Discover the secret that changed everything."

    Pretty interesting right? I thought so too! I have never read any of the Private books but I heard about this book and didn't realize it was part of a series but I thought since it was the prequel I could probably understand everything. This book was CRAZY! Ariana is a psycho as you learn early on in the book. I mean the author doesn't come out and say it but trust me she is and you'll understand as soon as you start reading. I had to reread the prologue three times while reading the book. This was such an easy read and I have lost a lot of sleep over it because I would stay up late to read it even when I had to get up really early. I'm in shock of this book because I can't believe some of the stuff in this book. Makes me wonder what the series is like... I think this series is an older one because this book's copyright is 2008.
